American Horse of the Year and Champion three-year-old colt, Sunday Silence won the 1989 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes as well as the Breeders' Cup Classic. He retired to Stud duty in Japan, where he ultimately became the greatest stallion in Japanese history.
